ANPR Cameras

Our Kits come with a wide choice of anpr cameras which are also available as separate components when building a bespoke system on line.

Choose the colour anpr camera if you have good site lighting at night and wish to obtain vehicle and driver images.

If local lighting levels are poor then, if vehicle images are not important to you, choose the monochrome anpr camera; if vehicle images are important, choose the dual anpr camera. Both these camera offer built-in covert infrared lighting to ensure good results no matter how dark the location.

Dual anpr cameras offer the benefit of a colour camera during the day but automatically switch to a monochrome at night. Vehicle and driver images are therefore only available during the daytime period.

Tungsten or LED?

Our anpr cameras come with a choice of tungsten infrared or LED infrared lighting, but what should you choose?
The main advantage of tungsten is that longer distances are possible, but bear in mind the bulb will need replacing regularly.
LED lighting uses less power, lasts 5-10 years and will eventually replace tungsten as higher brightness devices are developed
